It would appear then that OPKO ill not have any federal income tax liabilities any time soon.  What a cold comfort.

Sheesh, this becomes tiresome.....you seem to have forgotten that GeneDx was folded into an existing company that had a lot of problems, ranging from management issues to business mix. How is it that Personal Genome Diagnostics was able to convince LabCorp to buy it for 20x revenue, but somehow GeneDx, at 5x the size of GeneDx, wasn't appetizing to the well-capitalized labCorp , or its competitor, Quest Diagnostics?

Hint: what Mikedig eventually concluded about OPK and PF: no touchie.

It's NOT that GeneDx, as a part of Opko or as the newly made over Sema4, is/was a bad business, or a bust, which btw I've never said. It's that it was folded into an existing company, with an existing balance sheet, and an existing cap structure, that was critically wounded. The foolishly conceived mostly stock deal inexorably tied GeneDx, as a going concern, to the very sick patient that was Sema4. The transfusion recently received in the form of the capital raise seeks to the failing health of that patient. Even if WGS is indeed profitable in 2025, as the lovely Kate has projected, how will the E measure against what is now a leviathan of an S?

Honestly? You're interested in predictions? Quaint, but irrelevant. Opko is run as to be as minimally compliant needed to remain public, and as maximally opaque as to attempt to hide the ineptness. The problem with that trusty Frost M.O. is that the inept part has become more and more obvious, like a lump that lurked beneath the skin until it emerged as a full blown tumor.

Predictions are for sportscasters and weather anchors. I have no predictions because the information available is so paltry. I only care about the results. Has the bleeding stopped at BRLI? Is Scarlet now a scarlet letter, to be shunned as if it never existed? Is Claros dead, or as Miracle Max says in The Princess Bride, 'mostly dead.'? How many 4K tests were performed in each quarter in 2022? What are domestic Rayaldee sales, I.e., sales for which Opko is solely responsible? How much Ngenla has Pfizer sold abroad? How much Rayaldee has Vifor sold since the first script was filled? What is the cash flow picture of BRLI as a stand alone business? What is the YoY and QoQ growth in each of its four specialty areas: oncology, women's health, urology, and strategic partnerships?

You see, if I were CEO I would instruct my COO, CFO, and Executive VP of Administration (in between coffee runs) to make all of that raw data available to investors. And if I were one of the latter three, and my CEO was reluctant to release that information, I would strongly urge him or her to do so, because transparency is rewarded by investors.

One thing I can predict: the actual number of the loss per share (ex non-cash items) will be rather small.....because Opko's share count is now the size of Sagittarius A Star, and with such a number in the denominator, the EPS is bound, gravitationally, toward zero. And therefore, rather small.

If I engaged in incessant, strangely and suspiciously consistent, apology for a CEO whose management record is reflected, like the image of Narcissus (apropos), in today's closing price, at or near a 14 year low, then I would agree such a position qualifies as a profound example of babbling uselessly.

But, I haven't. My goodness, this board itself is like the canary in a coal mine. Years ago, a vibrant cauldron of exchange of exquisite details and analysis of quarterly reports. Today? Uncle bears the burden of Atlas, shouldering the weight of the Opko world, where tumbleweeds outnumber, and run over, any desultory facts reluctantly shared with us by management. In the name of Mother Hubbard's bare cupboard, a poll about Friday's stock price can barely muster 10 responses.

And, for the record sir, you have NEVER laid out a plausible analysis of the 'value' of Opko, the operative term being...plausible.

Indeed I did. You likely misunderstood. So I will clarify. The board's one time level of activity, and verbal exchanges of a frequency and caliber akin to Viking feasts, has......well, it has declined from days gone by. Not because we are boring warriors, but rather because the king has given us less and less each quarter upon which to feast.
